Our Mentoring Program matches participants/mentees with experienced psychoanalytic clinicians to build relationships within the Austin Psychoanalytic community, support professional development, and explore psychoanalytic ideas and clinical thinking. The focus of mentoring varies, and can include case discussion, theoretical and contextual formulations, starting a private practice, agency practice (individual work & organizational dynamics), and career development.

The mentoring program is available to mental health clinicians at all levels of training and experience. Mentor-mentee dyads meet monthly, on average, from January through September. If you’re interested, you can submit an online application, which will provide us with information to help us make a compatible match with a mentor.

Applications are now open for the upcoming 2024 Jan-Oct Mentoring Program year.
