In this workshop\, Dr. Feinstein will beg in with a group discussion on uses\, benefits\, an d limitations of doing supervision using five form s of supervision: case-based supervision\, video/a udio recordings of patient sessions\, process note s sup ervision\,  transcription supervision\, and liv e supervision. A mini-lecture will then present  the k ey components of the Cognitive Apprenticeship Model (CAM) of supervision\, followed by a description o f six experiential tools that can be used to teac h all forms of psychotherapy: modeling\, scaffo lding\, coaching\, Socratic questioning\, reflecti on\, and exploration.  All six tools can be  used du ring live supervision of psychotherapy cases with any trainee. The majority of the workshop will be devoted to interactive practice\, as participa nts apply and discuss three to four of these six t ools.  Participants will also receive a handout to guide the workshop\, along with relevant artic les about the Apprenticeship Model of supervision and training.
